Whiteoaks Lorne Park Association

Hello dear neighbours,

Whiteoaks Lorne Park Community Association current and past members and friends:

With this first quick email we would like to inform you of new exciting initiatives in the Whiteoaks / Lorne Park Neighbourhood.

Whiteoaks Lorne Park Community Association has a website that is frequently updated with news and events related to our community. It also includes links to the City, MIRANET and other helpful information.  Current and past newsletters are also available.  We encourage you to visit: http://whiteoakslornepark.com

Some of our recent website postings that may be of interest include:

Cell Tower to be erected at the Clarkson Road Presbyterian Church on Clarkson Road Town Meeting – Cell Towers

Information Sheet regarding Birchwood Park

TREE PERMIT BY LAW

Queen Elizabeth Way Credit River Bridge

and there are many more…

There are two big events planned for this spring:
1.     Membership Drive – over the next few weeks one of your friendly neighbours will be coming around asking you to join the neighbourhood association if you are not currently a member. Membership is only $20 for two years or $10 per year per family. Representing a large number of people in the neighbourhood makes it so much easier for our voice to be heard on issues that affect all of us.  If you miss the canvasser, please fill out the membership application/renewal form that will be included with the newsletter delivered to your home and mail it in with a cheque.
2.     3rd Annual Whiteoaks Park BIG HUG. Please join us on May 12 at 2pm and give the Park a BIG HUG!  We will be planting trees and pulling garlic mustard, an invasive weed that we should try to eradicate.  Bring your friends and neighbours as well – the more the merrier.

We are your neighbours and respect your privacy. We will only use your email to let you know of IMPORTANT news and events that are happening in our neighbourhood.  There is an option to unsubscribe from this list below if you are not interested in receiving this information.

We hope you join or continue to be a member of our community association and would welcome your ideas and support.

Thank you,
Whiteoaks Lorne Park Community Association
